How long is 10 seconds?
10 seconds is 17% of a minute — exactly 1/6 of it. At a relaxed speaking pace of two words per second, about 20 words fit into this window. Half of 10 seconds is 5 seconds, and two rounds back to back add up to 20 seconds.
